The British Paints Division of Berger Paints India Limited has commenced commercial production of its paint and putty plant at Nalbari, Assam on 29th March, 2017. The plant has a capacity of 6,600 KL/MT per annum of solvent and water based paints and 7,200 MT per annum of putty and distemper. Berger Paints India Limited is one of the largest paint companies in India with a gross turnover of more than Rs.5000 crores. Berger is present in all segments of paint including Decorative, Automotive, Industrial, Protective and Powder Coatings. Shares of BERGER PAINTS INDIA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.234.7 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 230.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 133747 in over 3248 trades. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 236.6 and intraday low of 229.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 31386744.
