International Lithium Corp. Begins Phase 3 Drilling at Raleigh Lake Lithium Project, Ontario, Canada

International Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ILC) (OTCQB: ILHMF) (FSE: IAH) (the "Company" or "ILC") is pleased to announce the start of Phase 3 of the 2022 diamond drilling campaign at the Raleigh Lake Lithium project near Ignace, Ontario, Canada.

Further to Company's news release dated September 20, 2022; ILC has completed 6,251 metres core drilling at the Raleigh Lake project in the first two phases of drilling in 2022. Phase 3 began on September 28, 2022 with approximately 2,500 metres of proposed drilling.

The previous phase of drilling showed Lithium Oxide concentrations up to 3.62% over 6.46 metres and Rubidium Oxide up to a grade of 1.38% over 5.9 metres. Phase 3 will include continued exploration and infill drilling of Pegmatite 1 at Zone 1 (Figure 1) and testing new exploration targets at Zone 5, Zone 3 and Zone 6, defined by lithogeochemical surveys in 2021. The drilling objective at Zone 1 will be to trace the high-grade core of Pegmatite 1 up-dip, closer to surface, and investigate the possibility of additional pegmatites occurring below Pegmatite 1.

Two holes have already been completed at the Zone 1 pegmatite occurrences with drill hole RL22-45 intersecting 14 metres of pegmatite (Pegmatite 1) starting at 84 metres downhole*. The intersection includes 4 metres of monomineralic microcline from 85.5 - 89.5m. The microcline associated with Pegmatite 1 is known to contain highly anomalous rubidium concentrations and occurs in a distinct zone within Pegmatite 1 that could warrant declaring the rubidium in the upcoming resource estimate as a standalone commodity.

The second hole, RL22-46 was drilled approximately 75 metres west of RL22-45 and intersected Pegmatite 1 over 10 metres from 89 metres downhole. Here Pegmatite 1 was encountered roughly 15 metres deeper than modelling would suggest. A second spodumene bearing pegmatite was intersected from 108 - 110.5 metres downhole which aligns well with a deeper pegmatite vein encountered in drill hole RL22-27 (Figure 2). This new discovery will be followed up immediately in the next few drill holes.

The drilling at Zone 1 continues to confirm the continuity of Pegmatite 1 and the near surface prospectivity for additional lithium and rubidium bearing mineralization. The narrow pegmatites intersected below Pegmatite 1 present an opportunity for the discovery of one or more pegmatites at depth which could be open to expansion in all directions.

We have already found some excellent grades of Lithium Oxide as high as 3.62% at Raleigh Lake and in the first two phases of drilling this year we have done enough drilling to be on track for producing a maiden resource estimate in 2022. As well as further exploration of the Raleigh Lake claims area, this drilling is designed to give additional input into the size of such resource, and to give us and our geological partners further confidence in the data, for example the size of a separate rubidium resource in the microcline. Analysis of exact grades for this phase of drilling is expected to be finished after the maiden resource estimate. Once again, we would stress that only 8% of the area of our claims has been explored so far, and also stress again the excellent access to road and energy infrastructure in this project.

Further to Company news releases dated February 9, March 21, May 17, and June 23, 2022; ILC completed 6,251 metres core drilling at the Raleigh Lake project in two phases. Phase 1 ran during the winter months of March and April 2022 where ten (10) holes were drilled for a total of 2,053 metres. Phase 2 Drilling Twenty of the twenty-six holes drilled during Phase 2 of the 2022 drilling campaign were cored in Zone 1 and tested the up-dip and eastern extent of Pegmatites 1 and 3. Zone 1 is a stacked set of shallow dipping pegmatite dykes that make up the main target of the first stages of exploration of the Raleigh Lake project.

Zone 1 pegmatites have been defined by drilling and surface exposures in an area exceeding 600 metres x 400 metres for Pegmatite 1. The Phase 2 drill holes were drilled interstitially to historic drill holes and the Company's previous drilling (Figure 1). Pierce points were planned to be at approximately 50 metre step outs from one another in preparation for a maiden resource calculation and to better define the core zone of Pegmatite 1 and its associated rubidium rich component.

The high-grade core of Pegmatite 1 is trending up-dip towards the surface exposure (Figure 1 and 2). This trend provides an additional 250 metres of up-dip extension for the high-grade core from the current drilling, bringing a good portion of the target closer to surface. Additionally, there are several smaller spodumene bearing pegmatites intersected at deeper depths below Pegmatite 1 which the Company interprets as providing significant discovery potential below and to the north of the current target area.

Six holes from Phase 2 were cored into Zone 2 targeting structures interpreted from airborne magnetic data and supported by lithogeochemical surveys showing elevated lithium concentrations. The down dip projection of Pegmatite 2, a small surface exposure of spodumene-bearing pegmatite approximately 750 metres northwest of Pegmatite 1 with a similar structural orientation, was also tested during this program but access to suitable drill sites was restricted due to topographical and terrain constraints. Results were encouraging with some spodumene bearing pegmatitic veins being intersected but more importantly the continuity of the Zone 2 pegmatites, which dip consistently to the southeast, project below Pegmatites 1 and 3 at Zone 1. The down dip potential of these spodumene-bearing dykes will be further investigated in future drill programs.

A summary of the analytical results for Phase 2 is given in Table 2.

Phase 3 Drilling The Company is now preparing for the third phase of drilling in 2022 where an additional 1,500 metres of drilling will test portions of the up-dip component to Pegmatite 1 and approximately 1,000 metres testing a number of shallow targets identified in Zones 5 and 6 that are road accessible.

Quality assurance/quality control procedures International Lithium Corp. has implemented a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of diamond drill core. All assays are performed by Activation Laboratories Ltd. (ActLabs), with sample preparation and analysis carried out in their full-service facility in Dryden, Ontario. Sample preparation involves crushing the entire sample to 80% passing 2 mm, riffle split 250g and pulverize to 95% passing 105 µm (Code RX1).

Primary analysis method: Peroxide (Total) Fusion, ICP-OES & ICP-MS with 55 elements that include detection levels for Li of 15ppm - 50,000ppm and rubidium of 0.4 to 5,000 ppm (Lab code UT7). Sodium peroxide fusion provides total metal recovery and is effective for the decomposition of sulphides and refractory minerals which are common to pegmatite.

Over limit analysis method: Samples that return with results above the instruments detectable levels for lithium (50,000 ppm) and Rb (5,000 ppm) are then re-analyzed by Assay Grade, Peroxide (Total) Fusion (Code 8 Peroxide ICP-OES).

The drill program was under the control of a Professional Geoscientist, registered with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia. All eight holes from the 2021 maiden drilling campaign were cored in Zone 1 and tested the up-dip and eastern extent of Pegmatites 1 and 3. Zone 1 is a stacked set of shallow dipping pegmatite dykes that make up the main target of the Raleigh Lake project. Eight holes from Phase 1 were cored into Zone 1 and and all eight intersected spodumene-bearing pegmatites with holes DDH22-09 and DDH22-10 intersecting 8.5 metres and 13 metres true thicknesses of spodumene-bearing pegmatite respectively; at an approximated vertical depth of less than 100 metres (see Company news release dated March 21, 2022).

Zone 1 pegmatites have been defined by drilling and surface exposures in an area exceeding 600 metres x 400 metres for Pegmatite 1. The Phase 1 drill holes were drilled interstitially to historic drill holes at step outs of 50 metres or more (if possible) to provide quantifiable data that can be used in a maiden resource calculation.

The first holes to be drilled at Zone 2 were targeting the down dip extension of Pegmatite 2, a small surface exposure of spodumene bearing pegmatite approximately 750 metres northwest of Pegmatite 1 with a similar structural orientation. Drilling locations were limited by topography resulting in a large step-out relative to the Pegmatite 2 outcrop. Encouragingly both holes DDH 22-17 and DDH 22-18, separated by a strike length of approximately 125 metres, intersected multiple metre and sub-metre scale pegmatite veins including a one metre scale vein (interpreted to be Pegmatite 2) containing moderate, patchy spodumene.

A summary of the analytical results for Phase 1 is given in Table 2.

As reported on May 17, 2022 The focus for Phase 2 was to test numerous lithogeochemical anomalies and alteration corridors identified in Zones 2, 3, 5 and 6 while continuing to test the extents of Pegmatite 1 and 3 in Zone 1. The Company is experiencing longer than anticipated wait times for the drilling permit to test targets defined in Zones 3, 5, and 6. As a result, drilling has remained within Zone 1 and 2.

At writing, the program has surpassed its targeted 5000 metres of drilling and will likely pause drilling for a few weeks while the permit process runs its course. The Company has re-prioritized drilling in the Zone 1 area where the high grade-spodumene and rubidium core can be traced closer to surface between the large gaps in the historic drilling. This will provide a much clearer picture of the mineralized zones to be used in an upcoming maiden resource estimate scheduled for later in 2022.

"These are very encouraging analysis results from Zone 1 of our Raleigh Lake drilling based on the results from Phase 1 of our drilling. We are now well on the way to being able to release a maiden resource estimate for Zone 1 of Raleigh Lake late in 2022. The grades of lithium analysed so far are at the upper end of our expectations with up to 3.46% discovered. The rubidium also remains very interesting with up to 1.38% discovered.

Our Phase 2 drilling program at Raleigh Lake has now reached the 5,000 metres anticipated, with more good core samples from Zone 1, but with Zone 2 not very interesting and not a priority for further drilling. Owing to lack of permitting we have not yet been able to drill further north in Zone 1 to analyse the extent of the continuation of the Zone 1 pegmatites which we have already drilled extensively, nor have we been able to start drilling in Zone 5 which had the very high readings of rubidium and caesium as well as lithium that we announced on January 17, 2022. We will be starting drilling again as soon as practicable after receiving these permits which we now anticipate receiving at the end of July 2022. The permits have taken longer than usual, but our understanding is that this has been primarily due to staff shortages and turnover.

We will also shortly be starting aerial magnetic work on other parts of our wider Raleigh Lake claims and on our newly optioned Wolf Ridge property in Ontario.

Quality assurance/quality control procedures

International Lithium Corp. has implemented a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of diamond drill core. All assays are performed by Activation Laboratories Ltd. (ActLabs), with sample preparation and analysis carried out in their full-service facility in Dryden, Ontario. Sample preparation involves crushing the entire sample to 80% passing 2 mm, riffle split 250g and pulverize to 95% passing 105 µm (Code RX1).

Primary analysis method: Peroxide (Total) Fusion, ICP-OES & ICP-MS with 55 elements that include detection levels for Li of 15ppm - 50,000ppm and rubidium of 0.4 to 5,000 ppm (Lab code UT7). Sodium peroxide fusion provides total metal recovery and is effective for the decomposition of sulphides and refractory minerals which are common to pegmatite.

Over limit analysis method: Samples that return with results above the instruments detectable levels for lithium (50,000 ppm) and Rb (5,000 ppm) are then re-analyzed by Assay Grade, Peroxide (Total) Fusion (Code 8 Peroxide ICP-OES).

The drill program was under the control of a Professional Geoscientist, registered with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia. The Company and its contractors carried out the program under full compliance with COVID-19 protocols based on guidelines issued by Public Health Ontario and provincial health authorities of Ontario to ensure the safety and health, for all personnel.

International Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ILC) (the "Company" or "ILC") is pleased to announce the commencement of Phase 2 of the 5,000-metre drilling program previously announced on February 9, 2022 at the Raleigh Lake lithium, rubidium and caesium project near Ignace, Ontario.

ILC is conducting a minimum of 5,000 metres core drilling at the Raleigh Lake project in two phases. Phase 1 ran during the winter months of March and April 2022 where ten (10) holes were drilled for a total of 2,053 metres (Table 1 and Figure 1). Eight holes targeted Pegmatite 1 and 3 in Zone 1 and two (2), the first holes ever drilled at Pegmatite 2, were targeting Zone 2. All drill holes encountered spodumene bearing pegmatites.

All eight holes in Zone 1 tested the up-dip and eastern extent of Pegmatites 1 and 3, a stacked set of shallow dipping pegmatite dykes that make up the main target of the Raleigh Lake project. All eight holes intersected spodumene bearing pegmatites (Figure 2) with holes DDH22-09 and DDH22-10 intersecting 8.5 metres and 13 metres true thicknesses of spodumene bearing pegmatite respectively; at an approximated vertical depth of less than 100 metres (see Company news release dated March 21, 2022).

Zone 1 pegmatites have been defined by drilling and surface exposures in an area exceeding 600 metres x 400 metres. The Phase 1 drill holes were drilled interstitially to historic drill holes at step outs of 50 metres or more (if possible) to provide quantifiable data that can be used in a maiden resource calculation.

The first holes to be drilled at Zone 2 were targeting the down dip extension of Pegmatite 2, a small surface exposure of spodumene bearing pegmatite approximately 750 metres northwest of Pegmatite 1 with a similar structural orientation. Drilling locations were limited by topography resulting in a rather large step-out relative to the Pegmatite 2 outcrop. Encouragingly both holes DDH 22-17 and DDH 22-18, separated by a strike length of approximately 125 metres, intersected multiple metre and sub-metre scale pegmatite veins including a one metre scale vein (interpreted to be Pegmatite 2) containing moderate, patchy spodumene.

The core has been logged and cut with samples submitted for chemical analysis. Initial assay results are expected later in May.

The focus for Phase 2 will be to test numerous lithogeochemical anomalies and alteration corridors identified in Zones 2, 3, 5 and 6. It will also continue to test the extents of Pegmatite 1 and 3 in Zone 1. The targets recently identified in Zones 3, 5 and 6 (Company news release dated January 17, 2022) are subject to the receipt of drilling permits.

The Zone 2 targets are located tens to hundreds of metres west of Pegmatite 2 that follow a structural corridor trending at approximately 035 degrees (similar to the orientation of Pegmatite 2). The local geology and lithogeochemical results demonstrate potential for the area to host multiple stacked pegmatite dykes analogous to Zone 1. Another high-level target in Zone 2 is identified as a structural corridor trending ~035 degrees terminating to the north in a large magnetic low domain coincident with a low-lying marshy area and surrounded by anomalous lithium values in bedrock as identified in earlier surveys. This speculative yet highly intriguing target will be tested early during the Phase 2 program if weather and environmental conditions permit.

The Zone 3 targets include southern extensions of the Zone 1 targets and stem from the Tanco exploration model developed for the emplacement of Pegmatites 1 and 3. Lithogeochemical work conducted in 2021 provides support for the model that unexposed pegmatites may be emplaced within certain structural domains to the southeast. Additional targets in Zone 3, based on lithogeochemical sample results, are subject to the receipt of drilling permits applied for earlier this year.

Zone 5 and 6 Targets (see January 17, 2022 news release)

The targets within Zone 5 and 6 are developed from recent lithogeochemical surveys conducted in 2021, following the expansion of the property. The lithium, caesium and rubidium results from the recent bedrock sampling surveys are encouraging enough to advance them to a drilling stage. The Company is awaiting the receipt of exploration permits applied for earlier in the year. Zone 5 is particularly encouraging because the new bedrock anomalies are highly elevated above background levels and align very well with the structural corridor that connects Zone 1 Pegmatites to the proposed source material of the Two Mica Granite a few kilometres to the southwest.

Zone 6 is another target area with numerous promising lithogeochemical anomalies identified from the bedrock surveys. One sample from this zone returned 339 parts per million ("ppm") caesium which is strongly indicative of a sample that is in close proximity to an LCT pegmatite. It is highly anticipated that these targets have the potential to host zoned pegmatites rich in pollucite, a caesium bearing mineral because the deposit model for the project suggests the evolving trend for pegmatites is to the east and southeast.

International Lithium Corp. (TSXV: ILC) (the "Company" or "ILC") is pleased to announce the signing of an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in 275 claim units (approximately 5,700 hectares) located 20 kilometres southwest of the town of Upsala, and 125 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The property, now known as the Wolf Ridge property, is a grass roots lithium prospect recently highlighted in the "Ontario Geological Survey Resident Geologist Program Recommendations for Exploration 2021-2022." The report highlights lithium potential in the Bedivere-Lac des Mille Lacs Lakes Area based on results from a lake sediment geochemical survey. An excerpt from page 54 of the report states:

"The Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) completed a lake sediment geochemical survey covering the Atikokan area (Dyer 1999a). A cluster of lake sediment lithium anomalies located on the north arm of Bedivere Lake returned the 6 highest lithium values, and the 9th highest value in the survey. These high lithium values range from 20.806 to 27.728 ppm Li," (see Figure 1).

S. Hamilton, OGS Senior Science Leader Geochemistry, provides a commentary on page 57 that suggests the lithium responses are underrepresented, and from local bedrock sources:

"The response observed in the Bedivere Lake area would if anything, be an under-representation of the actual lithium content in the sediments. Sometimes limnological or lake morphology-related overprints can cause sediment response in some elements (arsenic, for example) but I am not aware of any that affect lithium. Therefore, the response is very likely to originate from local bedrock sources."

The conclusions on page 57 provide justification for further lithium exploration:

"There is very little to no known exploration for LCT pegmatites in the Bedivere-Lac des Mille Lacs lakes area. Exploration for LCT pegmatites in the Bedivere Lake area is recommended based on the cluster of lake sediment lithium anomalies located along a regional fault system and the occurrences of biotite granitic pegmatites mapped nearby. On a regional scale, the lake sediment lithium anomalies at Bedivere Lake are located approximately 10 km from a biotite granite intrusion and are situated near the Wabigoon-Quetico subprovince boundary."

The project is located only a few kilometres from the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17) and is easily accessible through a network of forest service roads. Like the Raleigh Lake project approximately 125 kilometres to the northwest, the Wolf Ridge project is host to excellent infrastructure with electrical power, road and rail networks and mining friendly communities all nearby.

The Company intends to conduct prospecting, mapping and geochemical surveys during the summer of 2022 as a first stage of exploration on the prospect.

At the same time the Company announces that it has completed the sale of the 256 hectare Forgan Lake project in Ontario to Ultra Lithium Inc. announced on September 10, 2018. The only remaining completion condition was a work commitment expenditure of CAD $400,000 prior to October 2022. The Company waived this completion condition in consideration of a one-time cash payment by Ultra Lithium of CAD $150,000. Upon this completion the Company receives a 1.5% Net Smelter Royalty from Ultra Lithium Inc. or its successor company on the Forgan Lake property and the neighbouring Lucky Lake property.

Terms of the Option Agreement

ILC will enter into a 4-year option to acquire 100% of the Wolf Ridge property (the "Property") subject to certain NSR interests and ILC committing to annual work expenditures and making the following payments of cash and issuing common shares (subject to TSX approval).

The Optionor will retain a 1.0% net smelter royalty for all minerals that are not Nickel, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Molybdenum, Cobalt, Platinum, Palladium, Gold and Silver (the "Original Royalty") applicable to only the Original Claims, but not any area of interest claims. At any time, the Optionee may purchase the entirety of the 1.0% of the Original Royalty by payment to the Holder of $1,000,000 and the issuance of 225,000 Shares (measured as of the Option Agreement date), which issuance will be subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Further, the Shares will bear a statutory restricted period of four months and one day from the date of issuance.

Aurora expects that the results of the channel sampling program will allow a significant portion of the modeled rare earth resource to be upgraded from 'Indicated' to now 'Measured.' Once or two exploration drill holes with approximately 400m of drilling are completed, the rig will move to Incahuasi salar approximately 120km away and drill three holes on the targeted aquifer locations. A double packer will sample the brines at depth and be reported on.

After the exploration hole is drilled and a pumping test completed a further hole or a production well will be drilled using the rotary drill machine.

The Walker and KLR Properties lie within the Wollaston-Mudjactic transition zone (WMTZ) of the eastern Athabasca basin, which is host to the highest-grade uranium mines in the world, including:

In Saskatchewan, uranium deposits have been discovered at, above and up to 300 metres below the Athabasca group unconformity within basement rocks. Mineralization can occur hundreds of metres into the basement or can be up to 100 metres above in Athabasca group sandstone. Typically, uranium is present as uraninite/pitchblende that occurs as veins and semi-massive to massive replacement bodies. Mineralization is also spatially associated with steeply dipping, graphitic basement structures and may have been remobilized during successive structural reactivation events. Such structures can be important fluid pathways as well as structural or chemical traps for mineralization as reactivation events have likely introduced further uranium into mineralized zones and provided a means for remobilization (Jefferson, et al. 2007) (Figure 2).

Marvel still controls 100% of the Highway North and KLR claims (Figure 3). These claim groups straddle the Key Lake fault zone, an important corridor for structurally controlled Athabasca-basin-type uranium deposits. The Arrow deposit4, owned by NexGen Energy, lies along a similar structural corridor as the Marvel properties. The Arrow deposit, which has undergone a positive feasibility study with robust economics contains probable reserves of 239.6 million pounds of U3O8 at an average of 2.37% U3O8 and measured and indicated resources of 256.7 million pounds at an average grade of 3.1% U3O8. The Arrow deposit is the largest undeveloped uranium deposit in Canada.
