I believe that every makeup enthusiast has a makeup brand in their kit. This is their true OG. This beauty brand is probably the first brand they persuaded their mother to buy for them at the local pharmacy. This is a cosmetics brand that helped conceal the nasty teenage acne and masked puffy eyes after the first heartbreak. For me, this brand is L'Oreal. 

L'Oreal helped me through many stages of my youth. When I was growing up, I didn't wear too much makeup, but L'Oreal was there as long as I wanted to. When I was growing up, there were not many cosmetic brands that I could not afford. L'Oreal is a brand I can trust, and the price is very reasonable. Although I have tried many of its products, there is one product that I was not allowed to wear when I was growing up: foundation. 

Now, when I am an adult, I have the privilege of trying many foundations-including L'Oreal's True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation. Please continue reading my experience.

About the brand: L'Oreal is a beauty brand headquartered in Paris, giving priority to providing luxury cosmetics at affordable prices. Its products include foundation, eyeliner, highlighter, etc.

I have been at war with my skin, or should I say acne, many times. Throughout the university, I was struggling with adult acne. In the end, I won the acne war, but it did leave me some battle scars. I usually use a thick cream concealer to cover them. Choosing spot hiding is how I get a glowing look without covering my skin. 

L'Oréal's True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation aims to create a bright makeup, and its ingredients reflect this. This product contains a high concentration of phenyl trimethicone, which helps the foundation feel silky on the skin. This ingredient is perfect for people with extremely dry skin who are looking for a foundation to meet their skin needs. The foundation also contains glycerin, which can increase skin moisture while protecting the skin from irritating products. 

When I grow up, I remember that L'Oreal has many shades to choose from. I thought it would be easy to pick a shade on this foundation, but unfortunately I was wrong. When it came time to choose the right game, I was a little disappointed. Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation does not have a wide choice of shades. I used the foundation matching tool on the brand's website and was recommended the color number Tan Cappuccino.

However, when the product arrived, this hue was too dark for me, and the previous hue was too light-this is a problem that many women of color face when buying skin tone products. I suggest you visit your local pharmacy and test the shades yourself to see if any of them are suitable for you without any mixing.

After the fiasco of my shadow, I decided to blend the shadows and pray for the best. I usually like to use Beautyblender to apply foundation. This method works best for me, because I prefer a thin and light coverage, and Beautyblender makes the foundation have a skin-like effect. I first tried this method with Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation, but found that the consistency of the foundation was too thin and the sponge came off too much. Then I use my fingers to blend the foundation into my skin. This method works well. The foundation slides with my fingertips, giving me complete control and allowing me to easily cover problem areas. The finish remains light and bright.

L'Oréal Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation fits my dry skin perfectly. The finish is fresh, um, glowing. When I wear the foundation all day, the brightness improves. At noon, I was left with a beautiful glow, which didn't look too greasy. I have been using powder all day long, but it did not affect the quality of the foundation. The product can still maintain the skin-like radiance. To say that I am satisfied with the results is an understatement. I like the comfort of the product on my skin. Due to its lightweight formula, Lumi Foundation feels weightless. 

L'Oreal excels at providing high-quality cosmetics at affordable prices. Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation only costs $13, which is a reasonable price for a premium drugstore foundation. Another advantage of this product is that it is very easy to use. You can buy this liquid foundation at most pharmacies and Ulta in the United States.

I am at a crossroads with this product. On the one hand, the foundation is beautiful, bright, and feels moisturizing on my dry skin. On the other hand, the shadow range is severely insufficient. As a woman of color, I can hardly ignore this. The product is of high quality, but you may need to buy two to get the perfect tone combination.
