Make your best artwork more eye-catching by adding rainbow-colored paints to your palette. These pigments are manufactured in powder form, usually made from finely ground mica powder, come in dozens of colors, and are versatile. You can add them to almost any aqueous medium to get an eye-catching effect. Mica particles interact with light to produce a crystallization effect. Not all pigments are the same; below, find a series of proven products.

Jacquard's pigments are easy to apply and blend with almost any medium, and they are an excellent choice when you need to add a little brilliance to your artwork. Add this powdered mica to acrylic paint, polymer clay, resin, slime, etc.; just a light brush, you can turn the matte color into a striking metallic tone. This set comes in six bright colors, from antique silver to super copper, and is stored in convenient jars.

If there are many color choices that are the top priority, then choose Black Diamond products. The set includes 10 resealable bags filled with pigment powders in dark blue, emerald green, purple and other attractive shades. In acrylic casting, resin casting, and many other projects, it only takes a little bit to create a clear rainbow color effect. Our only complaint is the packaging-although aesthetically pleasing, this design can cause the paint to get stuck in the seal and risk wastage.

If you like mixed media projects, please consider these unique color sticks from Faber-Castell. Gelatos is a medium suitable for children. It has the same characteristics as crayons, chalks and watercolors. It can be used alone for dry, creamy coverage, or mixed with water for a softer, mixed appearance. Each color has a subtle shimmer to make your page more vivid. We also like the convenience of this form: when your stick gets shorter with use, just twist the end to reveal more paint. Or, hide the cane to ensure safe and clutter-free travel.

If your main purpose of using iridescent pigments is to make products for the human body, whether it is soap, cosmetics, nail polish or bath bombs, we recommend Stardust pigment powder. This shiny mica powder can safely come into contact with human skin and can be mixed well with oils and other powders to produce a non-caking mixture. The resulting visual effect is ethereal and strong, maintaining true colors while possessing a long-lasting luster.

Paints using Pearls pigments can provide different opalescent effects according to the base color. Mix it into paint or resin to add a coloring effect that looks almost like a colored reflection. Depending on the amount of pigment you add, you can get subtle or strong highlights. Like the competition, this is a versatile medium that you can mix with different kinds of paints, resins and even nail polish.
